DETAILED ITENARY
Day 1
Arrival in Leh & Acclimatization
Arrive in Leh and take the day to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. Drink plenty of water, avoid exertion, and allow your body to adjust to the mountain air. In the evening, you may take a gentle walk through the local market depending on your comfort level. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2
Leh Local Sightseeing / Sham Valley Ride
After breakfast, begin your first ride with a scenic exploration of the Sham Valley region. Visit the Indus–Zanskar Sangam, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Hall of Fame. Later, explore Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding mountains. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Day 3 – Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
After breakfast, ride from Leh to Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the most famous high-altitude roads in Ladakh. Descend into the stunning landscapes of Nubra, where cold desert terrain, distant peaks, and winding roads create a truly unique setting. Visit Diskit Monastery and the giant Maitreya Buddha statue, then continue toward Hunder. In the evening, explore the sand dunes and enjoy the beauty of the valley. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4
Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok
Begin the day with a ride from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route. This stretch offers a dramatic change in landscape, with rugged mountains, river crossings, and remote valleys guiding you toward one of Ladakh’s most iconic destinations. Reach Pangong by evening and spend time soaking in the beauty of its vast blue waters and shifting colors under the open sky. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 5
Pangong Lake to Hanle
Wake up to a magical morning at Pangong Lake before starting your journey toward Hanle. This route takes you deeper into the lesser-explored side of Ladakh, where wide open terrain, sparse settlements, and untouched mountain views create a true expedition feel. Hanle is known for its peaceful setting, dramatic landscape, and unique high-altitude charm. Arrive by evening and settle in for an overnight stay in Hanle.
Day 6
Hanle to Umling La and Back
Today is one of the biggest highlights of the expedition. Ride from Hanle to Umling La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The route is remote, stark, and unforgettable, offering a raw Himalayan experience unlike any other. Spend time at the top taking in the immense views and the sense of achievement that comes with reaching such an iconic point. Ride back to Hanle for an overnight stay.
Day 7
Hanle to Leh
After breakfast, begin the long but scenic return ride from Hanle to Leh. This route offers changing terrain, distant mountains, and remote valley landscapes that showcase Ladakh’s wild beauty in a completely different way. Reach Leh by evening and enjoy your final night in the capital, reflecting on an expedition filled with unforgettable roads and experiences. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 8
Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Leave with unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s valleys, lakes, passes, and the unmatched thrill of riding through one of the world’s most extraordinary mountain regions.
