DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1 - ARRIVE LEH ( 3505 METERS / 11567 FEET)
Arrival in Leh, Relax for the day, acclimatize to the altitude & Drink enough water.
Post lunch walk toward market and Dinner at hotel. O/N stay Hotel in Leh.
DAY 2 - RIDE SHAM VALLEY – (70KM / FULL DAY)
After breakfast, Sightseeing of Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, RIDE along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia) visit Indian Army Hall of Fame-A war museum dedicated to the brave martyrs of Indian Army.
Visit Leh palace- Palace of the erstwhile Royal King of Ladakh and Shanti Stupa which offers you a panoramic view of entire Leh town. Over Night at the Hotel in Leh.
DAY 3 - LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY (130KM/4-5 HOURS)
After Breakfast RIDE to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Second Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft), enroute visit Diskit Monastery, where you can see the Giant Statue of Maitreya Buddha and have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley.
Arrive at Hunder by afternoon. Lunch at Camp, rest of the day one is free to explore Diskit, Hunder Village and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village. O/N stay at Hunder/ Diskit - Nubra Valley.
DAY 4 - NUBRA TO PANGONG LAKE VIA SHAYOK VALLEY (145 KM / 5-6 HRS)
After Breakfast RIDE to Pangong lake via Shayok valley , This region actually comprises two valleys: Nubra and Shayok. Both their rivers rise amidst the remote and heavily glaciated peaks and trough of the Karakoram Range.
Arrive at Pangong Lake it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake while appreciating the changing Colours and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at the camp.
DAY 5 - : PANGONG TO LEH VIA CHANGLA (130KM/5-6 HRS)
After early Breakfast leave for Leh and RIDE through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, which is the fourth highest motorable road in the world.
Over Night at the Hotel in Leh.
DAY 6 - Hanle to Umling la and back to Hanle (160KM / 5 Hrs)
Start your journey from Hanle to Umling La, the highest motorable pass in the world, situated at an altitude of 5,883 meters (19,300 feet). After reaching the pass, take time to enjoy the panoramic views. This is an extremely remote and high-altitude location, so it’s essential to stay hydrated and take precautions against altitude sickness. It's a peaceful place, offering views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Overnight stay at Hanle.
DAY 7 - Hanle to Leh (220 km /7-8 Hrs)
After breakfast leave Hanle early in the morning. The journey involves long hours on remote roads and roads are generally good, but the terrain is rough, and riding requires caution due to narrow roads, sharp turns, and altitude.
Around noon You’ll notice the terrain starting to become greener as you reach Chumathang and continue on the road that follows the Indus River towards Leh. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.
Day 8 - Departure from leh (5km / 15min.)
On time drop at Leh Airport.
